David Woodstrom has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. David is currently working as an Application Development Manager at Woodforest National Bank since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at JPMorgan Chase for 7 years as a Vice President of Software Engineering. In this role, they led a 9-member development team and recruited 9 developers for the conversion and modernization of premier in-house presentation automation software. David also coordinated with a network of 10 technologists to create a global node system architecture.
Before JPMorgan Chase, David worked at Paragon Solutions for 2 and a half years as a Senior Consultant, spearheading the software development lifecycle of an enterprise-wide document management and deal workflow management system. David introduced build automation and continuous integration using Jenkins, MSBuild, NAnt, and custom NAnt tasks.
David's earlier experience includes working at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Assistant Vice President, where they controlled and delivered complex software development projects and transformed business requirements into technical systems. David worked at Woodborne, Inc. as a Programmer/Systems Analyst and at Software Architects as a Senior Consultant. David also worked at Enron, Landmark Graphics, SIG Consulting, and served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Propulsion Qualified Mechanic.
David Woodstrom attended James E. Taylor High School from 1984 to 1988 and obtained their High School Diploma. David then went on to study at LeTourneau University from 1998 to 2001, earning a BBM degree. Additionally, David obtained two certifications from Microsoft: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate in April 2021 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in March 2021.
