Jim Nguyen

Jim Nguyen has a varied work experience spanning over 15 years. Jim started their career as a Software Engineer at Intel in 2005. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Sr. Associate at JP Morgan Chase, where they focused on incorporating solutions to support asset-backed securities trading and daily operations.

In 2011, they joined Calpine as an IS Analyst, where they were responsible for developing solutions for traders and analysts using the Microsoft BI stack.

Jim then moved on to Invesco in 2012 as a Consultant, before joining Avanade in 2013. At Avanade, they held multiple roles, including Sr. Systems Analyst, where they focused on data and analytics solutions development, and Technical Lead, where they led the client's onshore team for governing QA efforts.

In 2014, Jim worked as a SSRS Developer at Avanade, where they developed a schedule forecasting engine using Project Server 2013 data.

From 2015 to 2018, they worked at BlueLine Rental as a BI Architect, responsible for the architecture and design of the company's enterprise data warehouse, as well as the development and deployment of related business intelligence solutions.

Currently, Jim is a Data Integration Architect at Woodforest National Bank since 2019.

Jim Nguyen attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. In February 2014, they also received the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL Server 2012 certification from Microsoft.
