Larry Payton

Larry Payton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Larry began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Everydaylife Inc. in 2015 and worked there until 2019. Following this, they joined Texas A&M AgriLife as a Student Worker from June 2018 to May 2019. In 2019, Larry worked as a Credit Analyst Intern at Woodforest National Bank from May to August. Larry then transitioned to the Texas A&M Foundation, where they became a Student Data Research Analyst from September 2019 to December 2020. Larry then joined Guaranty Bank & Trust as an Intern in June 2020 for a period of three months. Currently, they are employed at Woodforest National Bank, starting in January 2021. Larry first served as a Credit Analyst I from January 2021 to January 2022, then was promoted to Credit Analyst II from January 2022 to December 2022. Currently, Larry holds the position of Portfolio Manager at Woodforest National Bank, starting from December 2022.

Larry Payton completed their education with a Master's of Financial Management degree from Texas A&M University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Life Sciences with a specialization in Agricultural Economics from the same university in 2019. Before attending Texas A&M, Larry attended Dallas Baptist University from 2015 to 2017, where they pursued Business Administration. In addition to their formal education, they also earned a Credit Essentials Certificate (CEC) from The Risk Management Association in May 2019.
