Silvia Orozco

Silvia Orozco's work experience begins in 2002 with BDT International, where they served as a Business Analyst. Silvia primarily focused on designing and developing web projects for various clients. In 2004, they worked as a Business System Analyst/Application Developer at ITL Laboratory University of Colorado, where they designed and implemented a web application using various tools and languages. From 2005 to 2007, Silvia worked at Target Corporation as an Executive Team Leader, managing a team and assisting with customer service. Silvia then moved on to California Coast Credit Union in 2007, where they worked as a Business Analyst/Database Support, creating database applications and generating reports. From 2011 to 2019, Silvia worked at Shaw Communications in roles such as Intermediate Data Analyst and Lead, Data & Reporting Projects. During their time there, they designed and delivered automated report solutions, improved data mart structures, and coordinated projects. In 2020, they joined Teck Resources Limited as a Senior Business Analyst and then as a Product Owner/Lead, Mining Systems. Their responsibilities included gathering and validating business requirements, contributing to the vision and roadmap of new solutions, and connecting with customers to translate requirements into user stories. Most recently, Silvia joined Woodforest National Bank in 2023 as a Business System Analyst II.

Silvia Orozco has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, which they obtained between the years 1996 and 2001. Additionally, they hold a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado at, completed between the years 2004 and 2006.
