Kirstin Sourapas

Kirstin Sourapas has over 19 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Kirstin is currently working as a Director of Benefits & Compensation at Woodgrain since July 2023. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at United Site Services, including Manager HR, M&A, Total Rewards Manager, and Senior HR Business Partner. Kirstin also served at Amalgamated Sugar Company for a significant part of their career, where they held positions such as Employee Benefits Manager and Human Resources Coordinator. Kirstin has extensive experience in various HR functions, such as onboarding, policy creation, change management, employee training, HRIS implementation, and strategic planning. Kirstin has also demonstrated expertise in project management and team leadership.

Kirstin Sourapas, SPHR, SCP, CEBS, received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resources Management and Services and General Business from Boise State University in 2003. In 2007, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwest Nazarene University. Kirstin furthered their education in 2014 by obtaining a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans/Warton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Kirstin is also certified as a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) by SHRM and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, both obtained in 2012.
