Tom Hicks

Thomas Hicks is an experienced educator and sports professional, currently serving as a Teacher of PE and Boarding Tutor at Woodhouse Grove School since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Sports Coach at The Grammar School at Leeds and as Assistant Head Coach and Forwards Coach at Sandal Rugby Union Football Club. Thomas has a background in professional rugby, having played for Doncaster Knights, Rotherham Titans, and Gloucester Rugby. Additionally, Thomas contributed to the community through various coaching positions, developing sports-based sessions that promote exercise among children while also mentoring young people facing mental health challenges in collaboration with NHS mental health nurses. Thomas's educational background includes study at Sedbergh School and Gloucester College.
