After a successful career in the insurance industry, Liz attended Boston College Law School where she graduated magna cum laude. Under the tutelage of a prominent civil rights lawyer and professor, she worked on a team that launched a national campaign to end on-campus recruiting by employers that openly discriminated against LGBT applicants. She has clerked with a large, national law firm and practiced privately. In 2010, Liz helped launch the Minority Business Development Institute where she serves as Counsel and Executive Director. Liz supports strategic initiatives to create legacy wealth among diverse business owners and pave career paths that can lift families out of poverty. She facilitates education programs, delivers speeches, writes articles and connects with community groups and donors.
