Michelle Babick is an experienced educator with a strong background in humanities, curriculum development, and student-centered learning. Currently serving as the Lead Humanities Teacher at Woodland School since September 2019, Michelle instructs and coordinates an eighth-grade capstone project, develops innovative curricula for American History and Literature, and fosters critical thinking through project-based instruction. Previously, Michelle taught American History at Brooklyn Friends School and held roles as a High School English Teacher and ENL Coordinator at Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science for Young Women, and as an English Teacher/ENL Coordinator at Science Skills Center High School. Michelle holds a Master's degree in Education from The City College of New York and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
