Woods Basement Systems, Inc.
In 1986, Rick and Anna Lee Woods, with a partner, started a waterproofing company called Basement DeWatering Systems Metro-East, Inc. In 1988, Rick bought out his partner, and the name was changed to Woods Waterproofing, Inc. The company name was changed to Woods Basement Systems, Inc. in 1998. We have always maintained our corporate identity and all contractual warranties. There are over 400+ Basement Systems dealers in seven countries. Rick’s wife Anna Lee, son Wayne, daughter Susan, son-in-law Tim, and cousin Chris Blickenstaff are all management-level employees of Woods Basement Systems, with his grandkids: Alli, Drew, Nick, Jack, twins Sophie & Lily, Rachel, Mary, and Sarah being the “real” bosses. As you can see, this is a family business. Today, we are one of the largest basement waterproofing, basement wall repair and foundation piering contractors in Illinois and Missouri. In 2005, we became the world’s largest Basement Systems dealer – topping those 400+ dealers in seven countries!
