Cassie F.

Cassie F. has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Cassie most recently worked as an Operational Security Lead at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Data Coordinator at Archbright from March 2021 to October 2021.

Cassie's earlier experience includes working as an Analyst for the United States Department of Defense from January 2008 to March 2017. Before that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies from September 2005 to December 2007.

Cassie F. began their education journey at the University at Albany, SUNY, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 1994 to 1998. Cassie then pursued a Master of Arts degree in International Policy Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 2005 to 2007. Following that, Cassie attended Academia Cremonensis from 2017 to 2020, where they studied Luthier and specialized in Violin Making.

In the field of cybersecurity, Cassie completed a Master of Science degree at Southern New Hampshire University from 2020 to 2025. Cassie also pursued an Undergraduate Certificate in Cybersecurity at the SANS Technology Institute from 2022 to 2024.

Additionally, Cassie obtained several certifications. Cassie received the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC Certifications in October 2023. In June 2023, they obtained the GSEC certification from the same institution. Cassie also holds the GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) certification, which they obtained in January 2023. Additionally, they hold the Port Facility Security Officer certification from Seebald & Associates International / USCG, earned in 2022.
