Ian Robertson is a dedicated environmental data analyst and graduate student currently at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Previous experience includes a role on the Ocean Science & Technology team at The Research Corporation of the University of Hawai'i, where Ian led a project to develop a machine learning algorithm for analyzing wave breaking video data. Ian has also contributed to NOAA as a Physical Oceanography Data Analysis Intern, where data analysis supported the advancement of tide and wave measurement systems. A mathematics tutor at Bates College, Ian has demonstrated strong leadership and community engagement skills as a Residence Coordinator and Junior Advisor. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Music from Bates College, along with a semester abroad at the University of St Andrews.
