Sally Houghton

Sally Houghton has extensive experience in administrative support, currently serving as Executive Assistant to the President & Deputy Director and Senior Administrative Assistant II at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since March 2017. Responsibilities include managing the Chair of the Geology & Geophysics department's calendar and expense vouchers, overseeing the Guest Student program, coordinating department meetings and seminars, assisting Joint Program Students and Postdoctoral fellows, and acting as the point of contact for facilities requests. Prior to this role, Sally held various administrative positions at Dialogic and Excel Switching from January 2000 to September 2016, where responsibilities included coordinating international customer visits, organizing department meetings, and managing travel arrangements. Sally began a career in travel services as an Account Manager at Garber Travel from July 1997 to December 1999, specializing in corporate accounts and international travel. Education was completed at Cape Cod Community College.
