Fiona Hick

EVP, Australia Operations at Woodside Energy

Fiona Hick is the EVP of Australia Operations at Woodside Energy. Prior to their current position, Fiona held various positions at The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia, CO2CRC Limited, and the Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association (APPEA). Fiona has also worked at Woodside Energy and Rio Tinto. At Rio Tinto, Fiona was the Superintendent Scheduling for Shipping & Rail where they led the planning and optimization of Rio’s Pilbara iron ore ports, including rail, stockpile inventory management and shipping. Fiona also coordinated all rail deliveries, iron ore stockpile quality control and port optimization to maximize revenue and minimize demurrage. During their time at Rio Tinto, Fiona was involved in liaison with all Rio mines, rail ops, international sales offices and customers in Japan, Korea and China. In the year 2000, Fiona helped set a production record for tonnes iron ore shipped.

Fiona Hick has a Bachelor of Engineering, Honours, in Materials Engineering from The University of Western Australia, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Studies from Murdoch University, and an academic scholarship from St Mary’s Girls School.

Fiona Hick works with Mark Abbotsford - EVP, Marketing & Trading, Daniel Kalms - EVP, Technical Services, and Graham Tiver - EVP & CFO. Fiona Hick reports to Meg O’Neill, CEO and Managing Director.
