Kamini Akal

Kamini Akal is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in human resources planning and management. Currently serving as Principal HR Planner at Woodside Energy since July 2022, Kamini is responsible for the HR Functional Strategy and integrated planning, alongside coordination of key HR leadership agendas and budget inputs. Prior experience at BHP from January 2002 includes roles such as Specialist HR Business Partner, where Kamini managed recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and employee relations, as well as a series of HR process roles that involved the creation of standard operating procedures and system training. Earlier career experiences include recruitment and administrative roles at Eve Anderson Recruitment Limited. Kamini holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University.
