Sophie Morris

Sophie Morris is an experienced professional in corporate affairs, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Affairs Australia and APAC Business at Woodside Energy since October 2016. In this role, Sophie leads a team that supports the company's social licence and reputation across various project phases. Prior experience includes positions such as Head of Corporate Affairs for Australian Operations and Strategic Communications Manager at Woodside, as well as roles at West Australian Newspapers Limited and Schwartz Media, where Sophie focused on political journalism and analysis. Sophie holds a BA(Hon) in Political Science and Languages from The University of Queensland and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
