Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper is an experienced supply chain professional with a strong background in procurement and category management across the oil, gas, and mining industries. Currently serving as the Global Well Equipment Supply Chain Manager at Woodside Energy since June 2022, Steve previously held various roles at BHP from 2011 to 2022, including Category Management Principal and Specialist in different sectors. Additional experience includes managerial positions at Mount Gibson Iron and Newmont Goldcorp Corporation, where Steve was responsible for developing procurement strategies and managing contracts. Steve's educational background includes a degree in Purchasing & Contract Management from Edith Cowan University.
