Yvan Dass

Yvan Dass is a Principal Drilling Engineer at Woodside Energy, having joined in June 2022 following the merger of BHP Petroleum and Woodside. With extensive experience in drilling supervision and engineering, Yvan has spearheaded several key projects, including drilling operations on the Transocean Deepwater Asgard drillship and the Diamond West Vela drillship in the Gulf of Mexico. Prior roles at BHP included leading operations for ultradeepwater appraisal campaigns and supporting engineering design for multiple exploration wells in Trinidad and Tobago. Yvan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies and completed high school at Presentation College, specializing in Mathematics.
