Nicholas Mannix

Nicholas Mannix is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in structural design and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of Engineering at Woodward Design+Build since September 2013, Mannix oversees structural design across various sectors, including commercial and multi-family residential projects, while mentoring the engineering team and collaborating with architects and construction personnel. Prior to this role, Mannix held the position of Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager at Miller-Remick Corporation, where leadership of the structural team and quality assurance were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Structural Engineer at Windward Engineers & Consultants, focusing on client relations and multi-disciplinary project management, and as an Engineer at Liebl & Barrow Engineering Inc., contributing to over one hundred projects. Mannix earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Tulane University and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Washington, with an additional study abroad experience in Civil Engineering at the University of Newcastle.
