Kurt Freiburg

Kurt Freiburg is a seasoned compliance engineer with extensive experience in product safety certification for automotive and industrial fuel system components, currently serving as a Sr. Staff Compliance Engineer at Woodward, Inc. since June 2001. Responsibilities include evaluating product designs, conducting safety testing, managing risk, and overseeing quality systems, with expertise in meeting standards such as UL 429 and ATEX. Prior to this, Kurt held the position of Engineering Manager at Jacobs Vehicle Systems and worked as a Field Service Engineer at Cummins Inc. Kurt holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
