Emily Sturdivant

Emily Sturdivant is a highly skilled geospatial analyst with extensive experience in climate research, remote sensing, and geospatial analysis. Currently a Research Associate at the Woodwell Climate Research Center, Emily focuses on studying spatial and temporal trends in above-ground forest carbon storage. Previous roles include Geospatial Research Analyst at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Geographer at the U.S. Geological Survey. Emily has also served as a GIS Analyst and Project Lead, showcasing leadership in geospatial projects, including the development of an interactive conservation map for the Association to Preserve Cape Cod. With a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Clark University, Emily possesses a strong academic foundation and hands-on research experience in various environmental contexts.
