Marcia MacEdo

Marcia Macedo is an experienced professional in the field of ecology and environmental science, currently serving as the Water Program Director at the Woodwell Climate Research Center since February 2012. Marcia has held various roles at this institution, including Associate Scientist, Assistant Scientist, Research Associate, and Postdoctoral Fellow. Prior to this, Marcia worked as a Program Officer at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation from September 2001 to October 2006. Marcia holds a Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology from Columbia University (2008-2012), a Master of Science in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology from the University of Maryland (1999-2001), and a Bachelor of Science from Duke University (1994-1998).
