Gerard Van Den Akker has extensive experience in marketing operations and communications, currently serving as Marketing Operations Manager and previously as Marketing Manager at WoodWing since May 2007, overseeing corporate communication, website management, and event organization while supporting regional sales offices. Prior to this role, Gerard worked as a Communication and Internal Project Manager at Inca Import BV (Nikon) from February 1992 to September 2006, focusing on B2B and B2C communication. Early career experience includes internships at Mediasystemen in 1990-1991. Gerard holds a degree in Technical Computer Science from Inholland University of Applied Sciences (1987-1991) and has completed various training programs, including Marketo Foundation Training, Salesforce, and courses through New Horizons Learning Center and Cap Gemini.
