Alina Usataia O.d.

Alina Usataia, O.D., currently serves as an Optometrist at Woolfson Eye Institute since July 2021, specializing in multidisciplinary ophthalmology. Alina completed a residency focused on ocular disease, refractive, and ocular surgery. Previous experience includes working as an Optometrist at LensCrafters and an Extern Doctor at Wills Eye Hospital, gaining expertise in anterior segment disease and specialty contact lenses. Alina's training includes various externships at institutions such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Dr. Gordon Warren & Associates, with a strong foundation in primary care and low vision. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Optometry degree with high distinction from Michigan College of Optometry and an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where Alina double majored in Cell and Molecular Biology and Health and Disease.
