Sigrid Hoekstra

Sigrid Hoekstra has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sigrid is currently a member of the board at NRP (Nationaal Renovatie Platform) since 2023. Prior to that, they founded DreamHûs in 2019, where they focused on innovation and experimentation at The Green Village at TU Delft. From 2017, Sigrid served as the Vice Chairman of the Board and member of the executive board at Agrico, an international cooperative working in over 75 countries. In 2023, they became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at NV SRO. Before that, Sigrid held the position of CEO at WoonFriesland from 2007 to 2014, where they worked towards providing affordable and sustainable housing. Sigrid also served as Director of Wonen & Algemene Zaken and Director of Wonen at WoonFriesland during their tenure. In addition, Sigrid has worked as a Customer Council Member at BNG Bank and as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Univé Noord-Nederland. Sigrid was also a member of the Board of Trustees at ELKER jeugd- en opvoedhulp and held managerial positions at Informatie Beheer Groep, focusing on customer relations and personnel & organization. Sigrid also served as a member of the Supervisory Board at Nijestee.

Sigrid Hoekstra's education history is as follows:

In 1982-1988, they attended Bornego College Heerenveen and received their VWO degree.

From 1988-1992, they studied Commerciële Economie at Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen and earned their bac. degree.

Between 1992-1995, they pursued a degree in Sociologie at the University of Groningen and obtained their drs. degree.

From 1998-2000, they completed a Post HBO program in NOVAM Vastgoedmanagement.

In 2006-2007, they participated in a Business Strategy Course offered by AOG School of Management.

In 2008-2009, they pursued a Post Acad. program in Bestuurlijk Leiderschap at AOG School of Management.

During 2010, they attended the Summer Academy Cambridge at AOG School of Management.

In 2011, they completed their Master of General Management (MGM) through a Post Acad. program at AOG School of Management.

In 2016, they enrolled in the Governance Opleiding voor Commissarissen en Toezichthouders at Wagner Group Groningen.

In 2023, they completed the Advanced Program for (Supervisory) Board Members at Hemingway Professional Governance.
