Jeffrey Forgeng

Jeffrey Forgeng is a distinguished curator and academic with extensive experience in the fields of arms, armor, and medieval art. Currently serving as the Curator of Arms & Armor and Medieval Art and as an Adjunct Professor of History at the Worcester Art Museum and Worcester Polytechnic Institute since August 2014, Forgeng previously held the position of Curator at the Higgins Armory Museum and Worcester Polytechnic Institute from January 1999 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, Forgeng contributed to the Middle English Dictionary at the University of Michigan from 1991 to 1998 as an editor. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto (1984-1991) and a BA in History from Brown University (1980-1983), with additional studies at Háskóli Íslands in 1983-1984.
