Tom Mountford has a diverse work experience in the housing and community sector. Tom is currently the Head of Homes and Communities at Worcester City Council, where they are responsible for leading broad areas of responsibility including housing options, homelessness, community engagement, and community safety. Tom also has experience as a Trustee at St Georges House, a charity focused on supporting vulnerable men facing homelessness and domestic abuse. Prior to this, they worked at Dudley Council as the Head of Housing Options and Support, overseeing services related to homelessness prevention and social housing. Tom has also served as a board member at the Chartered Institute of Housing and has worked in various roles at Cannock Chase District Council, Wolverhampton Homes, and Southampton City Council. Additionally, they have volunteered as a mediator at Wolverhampton Mediation Service.
