Mike Vecchi has extensive work experience in information and technology leadership roles. Mike started their career in 1980 as a Quality Engineer at Nuclear Metals Incorporated, where they gained experience in non-destructive testing and software development. From 1989 to 2008, they served as the Director of Information Technology at Hypertronics Corporation, overseeing various areas such as business systems, help desk, and client/server software and hardware. Mike then worked as the Director of IT Programs at Smiths Group plc from 2008 to 2010. After that, they joined Boyd Coatings Research Co., Inc as a member of the Information Technology team, responsible for strategic and operational leadership. Since 2012, Mike has been with Worcester Housing Authority, initially as the Director of Information and Technology, and later promoted to the role of Vice President Information and Technology. In these positions, they provided strategic and operational leadership, developed standards policies and procedures, and collaborated with various functional areas to provide acceptable business solutions.

Mike Vecchi has a background in computer information technology and computer information systems. Mike attended Central New England College and obtained knowledge in the field of computer information technology. Mike also attended Mount Wachusett Community College to study computer information systems. In addition to their formal education, Mike Vecchi has obtained various certifications from Microsoft Corporation, including Microsoft Certified Application Developer, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, all of which were obtained in May 2006.
