Emily Rosenbaum

Executive Director at Worcester JCC

Emily Rosenbaum is the current Executive Director at the Worcester Jewish Community Center. Emily has held this position since September 2013. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at the Coalition For A Better Acre from October 2006 to September 2013. During their time at the Coalition For A Better Acre, they increased grant and earned income revenues for the organization. Emily also launched and inspired a variety of new programs and initiatives. In 2011, they went to Hubli India to the Social Innovation Sandbox at the invitation of Desh and Jaishree Deshpande. This led to their desire to innovate frugally, which led to the founding of the Merrimack Valley Time Bank.

Rosenbaum's educational career began at New Milford High School. Emily then went on to Vassar College, where they studied anthropology and earned their B.A. After college, they attended the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University, where they earned their M.P.A. Finally, they attended the Harvard Kennedy School, where they studied community development.
