Don Gelosh

Director, Systems Engineering Programs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Don Gelosh serves as the Associate Director for Education and Training at the International Council on Systems Engineering since February 2022 and has been the Director of Systems Engineering Programs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute since January 2012, where efforts focus on fostering partnerships and developing systems engineering programs. Previously, Gelosh held various leadership positions, including Deputy Director of Workforce Development at the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, where responsibilities included workforce development initiatives, and Senior Systems Engineer at SAIC, supporting systems engineering policy for the Department of Defense. Other significant roles span appointments at the National Defense University, Old Dominion University, and the United States Air Force. Gelosh's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.S. in Computer Systems Design from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
