Laura Roberts is an accomplished academic and development professional with extensive experience in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Since August 2014, Laura has served as an Assistant Teaching Professor and Director of the Worcester Community Project Center at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, also holding the role of Instructor in Integrative and Global Studies. Prior to this, Laura worked as an Independent Development Consultant, assisting NGOs with fundraising strategies and database management from November 2009 to April 2012. Previous positions include Director of Development for Year Up and Partners HealthCare at Home & Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, as well as roles at Carney Hospital and Foodshare. Laura's educational background includes a BS in Social Policy and Planning from the University of Connecticut, an MPA in Non-Profit Management from Seton Hall University, and an M.Ed. in Special Education from Eastern Nazarene College.
