Ashton Rome has a diversified career combining professional athletics and emergency services. Currently serving as a Firefighter/AEMT at the Salem NH Fire Department since September 2019, Ashton has extensive experience in professional hockey, having played for teams such as the Worcester Railers HC, Manchester Monarchs, Iserlohn Roosters, and several others dating back to 2006. Ashton's professional hockey career spans over a decade, showcasing a dedication to sports at a high level. In addition to athletic pursuits, Ashton is pursuing education at Rivier University since 2017.

A new era of professional hockey has begun in the heart of the Commonwealth! Founded in 2016, Worcester Railers HC is introducing a new way to be part of professional hockey in North America. Taking its cue from the European sporting club model, Railers HC is more than just a game-night experience. We want our fans to be members and partners in all that we do. Our goals are to win on the ice and bring a Kelly Cup Championship to Worcester while serving as a national ambassador of our city/region, contributing to the local economy, enhancing the quality of life for everyone in central Massachusetts. Our goal is to provide year-round entertainment and social events that revolve around the team, the community our members and our region. We’ll all be a part of the HC’s success. Are you in?
