David Aitken has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. David currently serves as the Vice President of Ticket Sales & Corporate Partnerships for Worcester Railers HC since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Rochester Americans as the Director of Ticket Sales from March 2019 to July 2023. David achieved significant success in this role, including leading the AHL Ticket Sales Department of the Year and overseeing a team that generated record-breaking ticket sales revenue. David also implemented innovative pricing strategies and developed an auto-renewal platform for season ticket memberships. Before their time at Rochester Americans, David held various positions at Cleveland Monsters, Glens Falls Civic Center, and Buffalo Sabres, gaining experience in new business development, group sales, marketing, and game presentation.
David Aitken attended the State University of New York Cortland from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management. During their time at the university, they also pursued a minor in Communication Studies. In December 2017, David obtained a Level 4 Hockey Coach certification from USA Hockey.

A new era of professional hockey has begun in the heart of the Commonwealth! Founded in 2016, Worcester Railers HC is introducing a new way to be part of professional hockey in North America. Taking its cue from the European sporting club model, Railers HC is more than just a game-night experience. We want our fans to be members and partners in all that we do. Our goals are to win on the ice and bring a Kelly Cup Championship to Worcester while serving as a national ambassador of our city/region, contributing to the local economy, enhancing the quality of life for everyone in central Massachusetts.
