Carl Herrin

Carl Herrin serves as the Chief of Staff and Assistant to the President for International, Community & Governmental Affairs at Worcester State University, a position held since January 2012. In addition to this role, Carl has been a Senior Partner at Global Education Solutions LLC since January 2008, providing consulting services in global educational services. Carl also led Herrin Associates from September 2003 to December 2011, focusing on international education and government relations. Other notable positions include Director of the Education Abroad Initiative at the Academy for Educational Development, Director of Government Relations at American Councils for International Education, Deputy Director at the Alliance for International Education and Cultural Exchange, Executive Director at the International Exchange Association in Washington D.C., and Staff Director of Government Relations at NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Carl Herrin holds an AB in American Government and Philosophy from Georgetown University, obtained from 1977 to 1981.
