Ian L Wong

Ian L Wong, MSPH, currently serves as the Director for Student Wellness CARE at Salem State University, focusing on supporting students facing personal and behavioral challenges. Wong is also a member of the Subcommittee on Addiction Services of the Gaming Policy Advisory Committee for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where recommendations for addiction service regulations are developed. Additionally, Wong serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Worcester State University and has extensive experience as a consultant specializing in public health and substance use issues. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Public Health for the City of Worcester, Vice Chair of the Behavioral Health Commission in Medford, and multiple positions at Tufts University in health promotion and academic advising. Wong holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Chinese Studies from UC San Diego.
