Fred Northrup is an experienced assistant editor currently working at Words + Pictures since June 2022 and at HOCK FILMS, INC. since April 2019. Fred has held various assistant editor positions at multiple companies, including Left Right and Stephen David Entertainment, where responsibilities ranged from online editing to supporting editing workflows in television shows such as "Odd Mom Out," "Gracepoint," "The Michael J. Fox Show," "The Americans," and "Copper." Fred holds a BFA in Film and Television from Boston University, attended the University of Miami, and graduated from Mamaroneck High School.

Words + Pictures, founded by Connor Schell and Chernin Entertainment in 2021, is a production studio with a mission to produce high-end, culturally relevant nonfiction content.
