Brian Lazenby

Brian Lazenby has over 20 years of professional work experience. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as a Reporter for The Anniston Star, covering police, courts, county government and business. From 2002 to 2009, they held the role of Public Information Officer at Calhoun County EMA, where they were responsible for media relations and external communications. From 2009 to 2015, they were a Corporate Communications Specialist at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, where they supported media relations and internal communications efforts. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at WordSouth - A Content Marketing Company, first as a Content Manager and then as an Account Manager and Marketing Services Writer. Brian is currently an Account Manager at Pioneer Utility Resources, a position they have held since 2018.

Brian Lazenby received their Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters from Jacksonville State University.
