Lydiah Maina (NMAS) has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Lydiah began their career in 2009 as a Finance & HR Officer at The Weir Group PLC. From there, they worked as a Project Accountant at Origin Energy in 2011, followed by roles at Hays as a Senior Finance Officer and Commercial Project Officer. In 2014, they joined Babcock Australia & New Zealand as an Assistant Management Accountant & Payroll Manager. After that, they worked at Deloitte Australia as a Senior Analyst for a brief period in 2015. Lydiah then moved to PwC Australia, where they held the positions of Senior Consultant and Diversity & Inclusion State Lead - Queensland from 2016 to 2019. In 2022, they joined Diversity Practitioners Association as the VP - Sponsorships. Lydiah is currently working at Culbridge Consulting as a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Consultant since April 2020. Furthermore, they are set to take on a new role as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead at WORK180 starting in January 2023.

Lydiah Maina (NMAS) completed a MicroMasters program in Organizational Psychology at the University of Canterbury in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained the NMAS (National Mediator Accreditation System) Mediator certification from Bond University. Lydiah also pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Law from Curtin University. In addition, Lydiah has a certification in Workplace Diversity from the Australian Institute of Management. Lydiah completed their secondary education at Precious Blood Secondary School Riruta.

Lydiah has obtained several additional certifications. Lydiah received the NMAS Mediator certification from the Resolution Institute in November 2022. In 2019, they completed a certification in Working with Cultural Diversity from MDA Ltd Australia. In 2018, they became a certified Mental Health First Aider through the Mental Health First Aid Australia program.
