Shazya Azim

Shazya Azim has held a variety of roles in their career, beginning with Events and Information Officer at the City of Parramatta in 2010. In 2012, they moved to News Corp as a Business Development Manager. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Account Manager at Sensis, followed by a role as Senior Account Manager at Isentia. In 2017, they joined Australia Post as an Account Manager and in 2021 they began working as a diversity, equity, and inclusion Account Manager at WORK180.

Shazya Azim completed a degree in Tourism Management from Western Sydney University between 2008 and 2011. Since then, they have obtained a number of certifications from LinkedIn, including "Become an HR Business Partner", "Core Inclusion Course", "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for HR Professionals and Leaders", "Gender Course", "Women Helping Women Succeed in the Workplace", "Women in Leadership", "Become an L&D Professional", "Build a More Equitable and Inclusive Workplace", "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All", "Grow Your Impact as a Mentor", "Unconscious Bias", "How to Make Work More Meaningful", "Write a Bestselling Novel in 15 Steps", and "Build Your Own Professional Training: Quick Start Guide". Additionally, they obtained a certification from SBS Inclusion Program titled "Gender Course" in September 2021.
