Gleb Pomykalov

Gleb Pomykalov has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 14 years. Their most recent position was with Workato, where they held the role of Senior Engineering Manager starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an SDE at Workato from August 2021 to December 2021.

From 2020 to 2021, Pomykalov founded and worked at Exogress, a company focused on providing an Edge Network for Cloud Apps. As the founder, they developed an easy-to-use load balancing service with advanced CDN features, using YAML-defined rules.

Before Exogress, Pomykalov was the Founder and CTO of Lancastr from 2016 to 2020.

In 2015, Pomykalov served as the VP Engineering at Cubic.AI, where they led the development and creation of a NLP stack based on neural networks and multiple algorithms for data extraction, processing, and text generation.

Pomykalov also held various roles at different companies prior to Cubic.AI. Gleb was an SDE at Workato from 2014 to 2015, where they contributed to making different cloud services work together effectively. Gleb was a VP Engineering at Toptal from January 2014 to October 2014, responsible for enhancing development team performance and introducing Scrum processes.

Pomykalov's experience with Skype includes being a Senior Development Lead from 2012 to 2013, working on projects such as Skype Video Messaging. Gleb also served as a Ruby on Rails Team Lead (Web) from January 2011 to January 2012, after Skype acquired Qik.

At Qik, Pomykalov had different roles, including RoR Development Lead from October 2010 to January 2011 and Senior Ruby Developer from August 2009 to October 2010. Gleb played roles in improving components, fixing issues, and implementing modern practices in development processes.

Pomykalov also co-founded and served as CTO at Webow Ltd from 2007 to 2009, focusing on web development outsourcing. Additionally, they worked as an Engineer at Kosmos from October 2007 to March 2008.

From 2002 to 2007, Gleb Pomykalov attended Sibirsky Federalny Universitet, where they studied Computational and Applied Mathematics. In 2011, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance.
