Kartik Desai

Kartik Desai is a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in distributed systems at Workday since September 2018. Notable contributions include the development of a distributed system that supports billions of searches weekly and the enhancement of a new search platform’s performance through advanced filtering features. Prior to Workday, Kartik served as a Senior Software Engineer at Optum, where responsibilities included developing the Optum Data Exchange Core, a scalable cloud-based solution for improving healthcare communication, and contributing to the Optum Open Access system, recognized for outstanding performance in the NwHIN implementation. Kartik holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
