Sameer Girn

Sameer Girn is an accomplished software development leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Since joining Workday in November 2018, Sameer has held multiple senior positions, including Director of Software Development Engineering and Senior Software Engineering Manager. Prior to Workday, Sameer worked at Illumina from September 2015 to November 2018, serving as Senior Software Development Manager and Software Development Manager. Sameer's career began at GenoLogics Life Sciences Software Inc., where roles included Software Development Team Lead and Software Developer from May 2005 to September 2015. Earlier experiences also include a Software Developer position at the University of Victoria and a QA Analyst role at ACD Systems Ltd. Sameer holds a B.Sc. Honours with Distinction in Computer Science with a Software Engineering Emphasis from the University of Victoria.
