Shahira A.

Shahira A. serves as the Senior Director and Deputy General Counsel at Workday since January 2019, where responsibilities include leading Global Litigation and Cybersecurity Legal efforts. Previously, Shahira held positions as Director and Assistant General Counsel, focusing on litigation, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and dispute resolution. In addition to corporate roles, Shahira has been a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from December 2011 to January 2019, and clerking for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Educational qualifications include a JD from Harvard Law School and an MBA from The University of Southern Mississippi.
