Theresa Amaechi has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Theresa began their career at SIOtel Nigeria Limited as a Human Resource/Admin Executive in 2003. Theresa then worked at Optimum Exposures Limited as a Client Service Executive from 2004 to 2007. In 2007, they briefly worked as an HR Officer at Deloitte Nigeria. From 2008 to 2014, they served as the Human Resources Manager - Group at COSSE Ltd. In 2014, they became the Head of HR and Admin at Montaigne AH Limited. Theresa then joined Balanced Scorecard West Africa Ltd as an Associate Consultant - Strategy from 2015 to 2017. From 2019 to present, they work as a Consultant - Strategy & Performance Mgt at Balanced Scorecard West Africa Ltd, where they have been involved in various projects and responsibilities. In 2021, they joined the Project & Development Office (PDO) - SDB ANN as an HR Manager. Since 2023, they are the Head of People Culture & Transformation at Workforce Group.
Theresa Amaechi pursued their education with a focus on both international human resources management and mass communication/media studies. In 2021 and 2022, they attended Rome Business School Nigeria, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Human Resources Management. Earlier, from 1996 to 2000, they studied at Auchi Polytechnic Auchi, obtaining a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
In addition to their formal education, Theresa Amaechi also obtained various certifications. In 2018, they earned the DELF A2 certification from the French Ministry of Education. In 2011, they completed the Balanced Scorecard Professional certification from George Washington University. Finally, in 2010, they acquired the ACIPMN certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
