Erik Brynjolfsson serves as the Jerry Yang and Akiko Yamazaki Professor and Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI), along with being the Director of the Stanford Digital Economy Lab and a Ralph Landau Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). Additionally, Erik Brynjolfsson holds the position of Professor by Courtesy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Stanford Department of Economics, while also being a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). As a Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of Workhelix, Brynjolfsson has extensive experience in writing for academic and broader audiences, alongside delivering keynote speeches at major conferences including TED and the World Economic Forum. Previously, Brynjolfsson was the Schussel Family Professor at MIT Sloan School, where leadership roles included directing the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and founding the Inclusive Innovation Challenge. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Managerial Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an AB-SM in Applied Math and Decision Science from Harvard University.
