Scott Loomis has had an extensive and diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Scott started their career at General Motors in 1986, where they held several managerial positions in quality control and operations until 2019. During their time at GM, Loomis was responsible for managing global manufacturing, quality systems, and operational excellence initiatives.

In 2019, Loomis joined Hitachi Astemo as the Director of Global Quality Systems, where they focused on implementing a quality operating system across all global facilities. Scott Loomis, MSLM, MBA, DFSS-BB has a Master's degree in Lean Manufacturing Operations from Kettering University. Scott further obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Prior to this, they earned an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology from Lansing Community College. Additionally, Scott has a certificate in Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University.
