Dermot Byrne

Dermot Byrne started their work experience in 2004 at Zomax as an Application Support specialist. Dermot then joined Sanef ITS Operations Ireland in 2009 as an IT Technician/Developer, where they provided technologies and processes to support toll services. In 2014, they joined Workhuman as a Business Systems Developer, and later took on roles as a Senior Developer and a Senior Software Developer. In April 2019, they became an IT Security Engineer at Workhuman. Throughout their career, Dermot has gained experience in various technical roles and has demonstrated expertise in IT security, software development, and business systems development.

Dermot Byrne's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled in Dundalk Institute of Technology for their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development. Dermot completed this program in 2004. In 2013, they attended Dublin Business School and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Project Management, specializing in Project Management. From 2014 to 2016, Dermot pursued a Master's Degree at Technological University Dublin, focusing on Digital Forensics and Data Security. Finally, in 2022, they attended UCD Professional Academy and completed a Professional Diploma in Ethical Hacking.
