Dylan Redmond has a work experience spanning over several years. Dylan most recently worked at Workhuman as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where they held multiple roles. Dylan started as a Cloud Support Engineer I in May 2020 and transitioned to a Cloud Support Engineer II in July 2022. At Amazon, they worked on critical issues for key clients and provided support in areas such as Control Tower, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Before joining Amazon, Dylan worked at Paddy Power Betfair as an Associate Cloud Automation Engineer, contributing to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Ansible and various hosting platforms. Dylan also gained experience in software development and deployment during their time at Paddy Power Betfair. Prior to that, they worked at ESB as a Voice & Video Services Undergraduate, where they were involved in an IP telephony migration project.
Dylan Redmond completed their Leaving Certificate at Castleknock College. After that, they attended Dublin City University where they pursued a degree in Electronic & Computer Engineering. Dylan obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) from Dublin City University.
In terms of additional certifications, Dylan Redmond obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021. In April 2022, they became an AWS CloudFormation Subject Matter Expert. Later, in August 2022, they received the Customer Obsession Hero Award from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Most recently, in December 2022, Dylan Redmond became HashiCorp Certified as a Terraform Associate from HashiCorp.
