Gigio Attanasio

Gigio Attanasio has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Gigio began their career as a UX/UI Designer and Creative Producer at MySpace - Fox Interactive Media, where they managed the planning, design, and delivery of MySpace Italy's Custom Communities. Gigio also supported the sales and marketing teams in increasing MySpace's brand value.

In 2010, Attanasio founded Kiwi Labs, a company specializing in the design and development of entertainment apps, video games, and innovative UX for Apple and Android devices. As the founder, they were involved in product management, interaction design, user experience design, and marketing strategies.

Attanasio later worked as a Lead Product Designer/Strategist for Artsana/Chicco, where they contributed to the design and production of their first tablet. Gigio led the architecture, UI design, creation of a tablet design system, and provided strategic consulting and usability testing.

At C3 Buzz, Attanasio served as a Mobile Strategist and UX Architect, delivering large-scale consumer and enterprise solutions across mobile, tablet, and web platforms. Gigio employed their experience and expertise to suggest features and functionalities for clients' digital products.

As a Senior IxD Designer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Attanasio led stakeholders through the design process for a project delivered to 50 million users. Gigio was involved in creative problem-solving, research activities, wireframing, and UI design.

Attanasio also founded and designed for Papinto Clothing, a small clothing brand specializing in unique printed leggings. Gigio'sresponsibilities included design research, fabric research, photo shootings, relationship management, and e-commerce.

In their most recent role as a Senior Product Design Manager at Workhuman, Attanasio oversees the product design and ensures adherence to the lean design process. Gigio gathers insights, actively participates in R&D, and manages and guides UX and UI designers in an Agile environment.

Throughout their career, Attanasio has also shared their expertise as a visiting lecturer and speaker at the Istituto Europeo di Design. Additionally, they have been a Youtube Creator since 2008, showcasing their creative work and expertise.

Gigio Attanasio's education history begins in 1989 when they enrolled at ITC F. Galiani, where they pursued a degree in Accountancy. Gigio completed their studies in 1994. Following this, from 1994 to 2001, Gigio attended the Università degli Studi di Salerno and obtained a degree in Scienze della comunicazione (Communications and Marketing).

In addition to their formal education, Gigio Attanasio has also acquired various certifications. In December 2012, they became a Titanium Certified App Developer (TCAD) through Appcelerator. In February 2023, they obtained two more certifications: "Get Ready for Generative AI" and "Hiring and Supporting Neurodiversity in the Workplace," both from LinkedIn.
