Jennifer Aker has a diverse work experience starting from 2006 as a Barista/Associate at Jay's Daily Grind. Jennifer then worked as a Baking and Pastry Extern at The Biltmore Company in 2010. Jennifer later became a Lead Pastry Chef at Bon Appétit Management Company from 2012 to 2013. Jennifer then worked as a Pastry Chef and Kitchen Manager at Milo's Catering from 2013 to 2015. Jennifer also worked as an Artisan Baker at Giant Eagle, Inc. in 2015. Jennifer then joined The Wasserstrom Company as an Inside Sales Representative in 2015 and later became a Sales Coordinator from 2016 to 2018. Jennifer then transitioned to Upserve where they served as a Customer Success Manager from 2018 to 2019, Mid-Market Implementation Specialist from 2019 to 2021, and Senior Implementation Specialist from 2021 to 2021. Following that, they joined Lightspeed Commerce as a Senior Implementation Specialist from 2021 to 2022 and subsequently became a Team Lead, Implementation for a brief period. Currently, Jennifer works at Workhuman as a Launch Success Manager since 2022.
Jennifer Aker completed their Associates in Applied Art degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University in the year 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Investigations from West Virginia University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
