Sukalyan Roy

Sukalyan Roy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sukalyan currently works as a Senior Product Manager at Workhuman, where they focus on the development and management of the Ecommerce Platform product area. In this role, they are responsible for defining, planning, and leading product initiatives related to supplier management, assortment, pricing, merchandising, and backoffice integration reporting.

Prior to their current position, Sukalyan worked at SAP as a Product Owner. During their time there, they were involved in delivering SAP Commerce Cloud projects, coordinating with remote and onsite teams and facilitating cross-functional requirement gathering. Sukalyan played a key role in structuring requirements and driving feature adoption and best practices.

Sukalyan also has experience as a Data Analyst Intern at CarTrawler, where they focused on converting free text into quantitative data and identifying repeating complaint and inquiry reasons. Additionally, they worked at AGNITY, Inc as a Member of Technical Staff, where they contributed to the implementation of highly available and scalable VOIP and messaging products. Earlier in their career, Sukalyan worked as a Network Service Consultant at Vodafone UK, where they were responsible for monitoring the core MPLS cloud, analyzing network issues, and communicating with clients. Sukalyan also gained experience as a Management Trainee at WILO SE, where they collected and analyzed sensor data from water handling systems, and provided recommendations for part replacements and other services.

Sukalyan Roy obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, from 2006 to 2010. Following this, Sukalyan pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Analytics at University College Dublin from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Sukalyan also obtained certifications in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals in May 2021 from Microsoft and in SAP Hybris Commerce Business Analyst in October 2018 from SAP.
